2010 BioBlitz Results

Teams of experts on local flora and fauna gathered on the morning of Sunday, June 27, 2010, as Duke Farms hosts its first BioBlitz, a one-day treasure hunt to identify and record species of plants and animals found on the property.

In addition, 370 members of the public came to witness the event and participate in special programs that were held throughout the day.

More than four dozen new species were identified, including 29 new plant species.
