DESCRIPTION:A class to make the heart grow fronder.\n\n\nSporting fronds instead of leaves\, spores instead of seeds\, and something alarmingly called an indusium\, it’s a wonder that anything as unusual as a fern can also be so downright loveable. Then again\, the fiddleheads and feather-like foliage that brings to mind lumbering dinos and simpler times (evolutionarily\, that is) may explain some of their appeal. Whatever your reasons\, if now feels like the right time to learn your ferns\, come join us for this introductory exploration—you won’t be sori! \nCheck out more upcoming classes in the For Starters series. \n\n\nProgram Guidelines\nRegistration is required. Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be offered to someone else. Cancellations received at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund\, if applicable. \nPrograms at Duke Farms are held rain or shine\, but in the event of severe weather\, classes may be canceled.
