Join this Native vs. Invasive Plants class to learn more about the beneficial plants Duke Farms implements into our restored habitats. Participants will learn about the importance of native plants in ecological restoration for both wildlife and people alike\, as well as how to use field guides to help identify some common native and invasive plants. \n\n\nIn the Beginner’s Stewardship series: \n\nNative vs. Invasive Plant Workshop (Jul 11)\nVegetation Monitoring Workshop (Aug 8)\nPlant Survivability Workshop (Sep 12)\nNative Seed Harvesting Workshop (Oct 10)\n\n\n\nProgram Guidelines\nRegistration is required. Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be offered to someone else. Cancellations received at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund\, if applicable. Come celebrate our native species of bioluminescent beetle with a wonder-filled walk through the meadows and woods they call home. On the way\, we’ll shed light on their fascinating biology and share some bright ideas for welcoming fireflies back to your own green spaces. \n\n\nProgram Guidelines\nRegistration is required. Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be offered to someone else.
