This guided birding experience focuses on grassland specialists such as bobolinks and meadowlarks—species whose presence reflects the health of restored meadow ecosystems. \nAlong the way\, you’ll learn how Duke Farms manages these landscapes to support breeding birds and biodiversity\, and why grassland restoration plays a vital role in regional conservation. It’s an opportunity not just to observe wildlife\, but to understand the systems that help it thrive. \n\n\nProgram Guidelines\nThis is a member exclusive program. To learn more and become a member\, visit dukefarms.org/membership. \nAll programs begin at the Farm Barn Orientation Center unless otherwise noted. \nRegistration is required. Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be offered to someone else. \nPrograms at Duke Farms are held rain or shine\, but in the event of severe or impeditive weather\, classes may be canceled.
