The first egg of the season arrived Thursday around 4:30 p.m. The second egg of the season arrived Sunday around 4:30 p.m. Since the female of a Bald Eagle pair tends to lay two or three eggs, there is a possibility that a third egg could arrive today, most likely in the afternoon. The egg counts for the Duke Farms nest for the past 11 years have ranged from one to three. As recently as 2014, the adults have incubated three eggs.
