Thank You for a Terrific Nesting Season

As the 2016 nesting season winds down, I'd just like to thank everyone who helped with my past five months of blog posts -- including all of you who read my posts over that span, and all the folks who enjoyed the new high-definition, round-the-clock Eagle Cam. Thanks to you, the Ustream feed has had more than one million views so far this year, and  the blog has had more than 100,000 page views  -- twice that of all of last year. In my first post, on Feb. 15, the first egg was still a few days away. And now, the next thing we know, we have two full-grown young raptors. It's been quite a trip to watch this family -- and the two eaglets -- develop in front of our eyes. First and foremost, I'd like to thanks Duke Farms for the opportunity to be the guest Eagle Cam blogger, and to create the Duke Farms Bald Eagle e-book. What a great first half of the year.  (You can see and read the free online book here.) I'd also like to thank Conserve Wildlife Foundation for all their help and expertise. Below are a bunch of snapshots of many of the folks who helped me with the blog. Although we all tend to focus of the Bald Eagle family, it takes a lot of humans to bring the streaming video to our electronic devices, to band the eaglets, and to turn the nesting season into such a terrific learning tool for young and old.
