Q: Do I need to have a reservation to attend a Duke Farms program?

Yes, reservations are required and space is limited for most of our programs and our bicycle tours. To reserve a place, please make your reservations early by purchasing tickets online or by phoning at (908) 722-3700 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please note that reservations are not required for our Walk on the Wild Side self-guided nature trail, open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., year 'round, free of charge and weather permitting.

Q: Is food available on the premises?

Food is not available on the property however water fountains are available at the Visitors Center.

Q: Can we drive or walk around the property freely?

Visitors can explore the 1.25-mile Walk on the Wild Side self-guided nature trail on their own. However, leaving the trail or driving anywhere on the property except on the road to the Visitor Center is prohibited. 

Q: Are the programs held rain or shine?

Most programs operate rain or shine, unless otherwise noted. In situations of extreme weather conditions or other emergency conditions, guests should call the reservation line at (908) 722-3700 and listen for an emergency recording that will tell you if programs have been cancelled.

Q: Are photographs and video taping allowed?

Visitors are welcome to take photographs for personal use only. Video taping is not allowed on the property.
