Keeping the Charge: Charting the Path Forward for Clean Energy

Clean energy adoption has been growing —from community solar to utility-scale storage—but the path ahead is anything but smooth. Federal support is faltering, market uncertainty is growing, and climate impacts are no longer abstract. Against this backdrop, a critical question emerges: How do we sustain momentum for a decarbonized energy future?

At a time when national action is uncertain, the future of  clean energy will increasingly be shaped by local leadership—in states, counties, campuses, businesses, and communities willing to act. What does that leadership look like? How do we match ambition with implementation? And how do we move from vision to reality in ways that are equitable, resilient, and rooted in place? .
