About This Event

Join Seasonal Educator Toni on a winter birdwatching walk to see which birds can be found in the colder months!

When winter rolls in, we expect to see less wildlife as they seek shelter or hibernate through the cold. However, some wildlife can actually endure such conditions and still be seen, including birds. In fact, certain birds only come around once the frost does too! Join us on a guided walk to appreciate the species that are still around, while also learning some easy yet useful bird ID tips. We will also be logging our observations onto eBird, a community science tool that keeps track of when and how often different species appear. Binoculars will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gear!

We will be meeting first behind the Farm Barn Orientation Center before departing for our program!
