Nature Positive Carbon Negative
This September, Duke Farms is proud to host New Jersey Climate Week, bringing together land stewards, innovators, and changemakers for a week of meaningful dialogue, hands-on learning, and collective action.
Guided by the theme Nature Positive, Carbon Negative, our programming highlights the essential role of nature in climate solutions—from regenerative land management and biodiversity protection to renewable energy and sustainable food systems.
Through panels, field experiences, and curated gatherings, we’ll explore how rooted, place-based action can support climate resilience while enhancing the health of ecosystems and communities across New Jersey and beyond.
This interactive event will connect hands-on users of equipment with manufacturers of electric vehicles and battery-powered equipment to test drive and experience what they can do first-hand. The event will be an open-house format where attendees can come by during the day and meet with representatives from the manufacturer to ask questions about the gear and test it out firsthand. Attendees will range from Municipal and County Departments of Public Works workers to conservationists and land stewards from across New Jersey.

As the world’s attention turns to NYC for Climate Week, New Jersey stands at the forefront of innovation and resilience. Duke Farms is excited to host a special pre-Climate Week reception bringing together leaders who are not only tackling the global climate crisis but are also pivotal in shaping New Jersey's future.
Our state’s role in addressing these challenges is undeniable—New Jersey's diverse landscapes, industries, and communities are a microcosm of the broader environmental issues we face globally. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow New Jersey leaders who share a commitment to addressing the pressing environmental challenges of our time.
This NJ Climate Week round-table will examine the present condition of the Raritan River and introduce the Headwaters to Bay Initiative. Designed as an informal forum, it will bring together community groups, government agencies, researchers, and conservation practitioners to exchange observations, share practical experience, and identify opportunities for collaboration. By pooling insights, participants will help outline an inclusive path toward a healthier and more resilient Raritan watershed.
