An Experiment in At-Home Composting: Part 4

Let's continue to check out how our open bin compost system looks like after the organic matter has had some time to decompose. This resource tests the theory that organic matter is quick to decompose if cut or torn into smaller pieces, compared to whole fruits or vegetables. Learners will also discover the presence of one of the most well-known decomposers in the compost and a little background information on this wriggly friend.
