Duke Farms features over 18 miles of scenic trails through meadows, woodlands, wetlands, lakes, and historic landscapes. Whether you're here for a reflective walk, a bike ride, or to observe native wildlife and plants, these tools will help you navigate and explore with purpose:

Guidelines for Biking at Duke Farms

Motorized bikes are not permitted to protect the natural environment. If you have mobility challenges and it aids you to better access Duke Farms, bring your electric bike; note that we do limit the speed limit to 15 mph on our roadways. If it’s just a way for you to go faster, no, please keep it at home.

Remember to follow all safety guidelines and yield to wildlife and pedestrians

Wear a helmet at all times


Check trail signs as some areas are pedestrian-only


Ride slowly & respectfully – Duke Farms is a center for conservation science, so be sure to brake for wildlife
