Biking at Duke Farms
Visitors are welcome to bring their own bicycles or rent one through Duke Farms’ self-service bike rental program. Bike rentals are available Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 8:30am.
Bikes can be rented directly through the Movatic app from several rental locations throughout Duke Farms, providing a flexible and convenient way to explore at your own pace. Real-time bike availability is displayed in the app, making it easy to see where bikes are available before you begin your ride.
Visitors are encouraged to bring and wear their own helmets while biking. A limited number of helmets are available to borrow free of charge from the Farm Barn Orientation Center during its hours of operation.
Please ride safely and always yield to pedestrians and wildlife.
Motorized bikes are not permitted to protect the natural environment. If you have mobility challenges and it aids you to better access Duke Farms, bring your electric bike; note that we do limit the speed limit to 15 mph on our roadways. If it’s just a way for you to go faster, no, please keep it at home.
Remember to follow all safety guidelines and yield to wildlife and pedestrians.
