Have you ever seen the Green Roof Nature Station outside the Orientation Center at Duke Farms? It's there for a reason! Let's talk about the environmental benefits of a green roof. Not only does a green roof garden provide habitat for flora and fauna, but it also conserves rainwater - and all these benefits are done in style. Green roofs provide a pop of life and color to any structure. In this resource, learners will discover the history behind green roofs, their benefits, structure, and engage in activities to deepen understanding of how a green roof garden works.
