The Coach Barn at Duke Farms

A Landmark Of Innovation And Adaptive Reuse

Built in 1899, the Coach Barn was the first major building constructed at Duke Farms setting a unique architectural tone.

It was originally home to horses and carriages while also providing office space for J.B. Duke.  Restored in 2015, the five-story clock tower still chimes the time on the hour.

Today, the Coach Barn provides office space to our team when we’re not in the field.  As such, this building is not open to the public.
