In the environmental science field, there's something for everyone!

We would like to encourage you to explore careers and topics related to the field of environmental science. February features a wide array of opportunities, as well as the specialized work of those dedicated to conservation efforts, sustainability, and natural resources. Environmental endeavors are surprisingly eclectic and those involved have backgrounds and passions that create a rich tapestry of talents. There is truly something for everyone who wishes to get involved in creating a positive pathway to the future of our planet.

Chemistry is the study of matter and change - chemists research and experiment with different substances. This way, the world can better understand how substances change in diverse environments. Specifically, a textile chemist works with fibers and various materials to understand changes and reactions under distinct conditions. This includes dyeing and finishing chemistry, fiber, polymer chemistry, and blending of textile materials.
